Terms and Conditions

At Agencia Marruecos Tours we want your experience to be completely satisfying. That is why we set out below our general terms for booking, cancellation and payment, so no doubt remains before you travel with us.

1. Booking and confirmation

   To confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit of 20–30 % of the total is required. That amount lets us secure availability for the tour, the accommodation and the services requested. As soon as we receive it we send you formal confirmation by email.

2. Payment of the balance

   The remaining amount is paid 15 days before the tour begins. We accept card (Visa or Mastercard), bank transfer and PayPal. Let us know your payment preference in advance so we can organise it better.

3. Room types

   When booking, tell us the room type you prefer and the bed configuration — double or two separate beds — so we can request it from the properties.

4. Cancellation

   If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. The conditions are as follows:

   • Free cancellation: up to 15–30 days before the start date on standard low-season tours, and up to 30 days before on Sahara routes and trekking, where camps have limited capacity.
   • Between 15 and 7 days before: a refund of 50–70 % of the total amount applies.
   • Less than 7 days before: no refund is given, except in cases of force majeure.

5. Changes to the booking

   Date changes are allowed up to two weeks before departure and are subject to availability. In high season — Christmas and Ramadan — a surcharge may apply.

6. Force majeure

   There are circumstances beyond your control and ours that we handle separately:

   • Serious illness or natural disaster: full refund on presentation of a medical certificate or official document.
   • Political or visa problems: we reschedule the trip at no extra cost.

7. Group tours and private tours

   Conditions for group tours are stricter, because they depend on shared places and bookings closed in advance. Private tours offer considerably more flexibility on dates and changes.

8. Acceptance of the conditions

   By making the booking, the client expressly accepts these general conditions. We also send them to you in writing with the confirmation, so you always have a record of what was agreed.
