Itinerary

Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Rabat → Meknés

We collect you in the morning at your hotel in Rabat and set off for the imperial city of Meknes. On arrival we discover the monumental Bab Mansour gate, one of the most beautiful in Morocco, decorated with zellige tilework.

We visit the complex of royal granaries and stables before losing ourselves in the medina, with its traditional shops, spices and local crafts. We pause for a mint tea before checking in at Meknes.

Accommodation: Night in Meknés — Riad Yacout or similar

Day2

Meknés → Volubilis → Fez

After breakfast we travel to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, half an hour from Meknes. We walk its extraordinarily well-preserved ruins: mosaics, basilicas, triumphal arches and temples, surrounded by olive groves and hills.

In the afternoon we reach Fez, the country's spiritual and cultural capital. Depending on the time, we can take a first look at its medina or check in at the accommodation, where the tour ends.
