Frequently asked questions

About this tour

Yes, it crosses the country from north to south in 9 days, starting in Casablanca and ending in Marrakech, without retracing your steps.

We recommend drinking bottled water, which is cheap and available everywhere. We usually carry water in the vehicle for the drives.

Yes, a Moroccan SIM card (Maroc Telecom, Orange, Inwi) is inexpensive and gives good coverage in cities. You can buy one at the airport or we can help you get one.

Fes is the most labyrinthine and authentic medieval medina, focused on crafts and tradition; Marrakech is more touristy and vibrant, with Jemaa el-Fna square at its heart.

Yes, haggling is common and part of the experience. Offer a lower price politely and meet in the middle; without pressure, it is fun.

Daily breakfast is included. You will try dishes such as tagine, couscous and pastilla; we can recommend good local restaurants for lunch and dinner.

The Perfect Family Trip to Morocco

We recently returned from an incredible 12-day tour from Casablanca with our two children, and booking with Agencia Marruecos Tours was the best decision we made. Our driver and guide, Hassan, didn't just drive us from place to place — he became part of our family's story. The overnight desert camp in Merzouga was pure magic for all of us.

An amazing experience

I finally fulfilled a lifelong ambition of mine to go to Morocco. It was without a doubt one of the most memorable experiences of my life! The nine days spent travelling were filled with such breathtaking scenery. My favourite part was spending the night in a tent in the Sahara Desert and riding camels around the desert.

Highly recommended

An excellent personalised experience, helped along by Idir’s passion for his country and its customs — and, despite his youth, his knowledge of every corner of Morocco.
