Day1
Arrival in Marrakech
Pick-up at Marrakech airport and transfer to your riad in the medina. In the afternoon, a first stroll through the souks and sunset on Jemaa el-Fna square, which comes alive with musicians, storytellers and food stalls.

Marrakech → Tizi n’Tichka → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
Morning departure into the High Atlas and over the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m), with stops in Berber villages. Visit the kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and continue via Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley.

Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
Walk between the rock walls of the Todra Gorge, up to 300 metres high, and drive via Tinghir and the palm groves of Erfoud. At sunset, a camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi and a night at a desert camp, with dinner and music around the fire.

Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Sunrise over the dunes and a camel ride back. Head north via Erfoud and the canyons and palm groves of the Ziz Valley, stopping in Midelt for lunch. Cross the Middle Atlas through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques, and Ifrane, before reaching Fes in the late afternoon.

Fes
Guided visit of Fes el Bali, the largest medieval medina in the world: the Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Chouara tanneries. Free afternoon to explore the souks.

Day6
Fes → Meknes → Volubilis → Chefchaouen
Visit Meknes, with the Bab Mansour gate and El Hedim square, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, whose mosaics are still in place. In the afternoon, drive through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen.

Day7
Chefchaouen → Rabat → Casablanca
A last morning walk through the blue medina, then drive to the Atlantic coast. Stop in Rabat to see the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower, and arrive in Casablanca, where the trip ends at your hotel or Mohammed V Airport.
