Day-by-day itinerary
Day1
Marrakech → Beni Mellal → Azrou → Ifrane → Fes
Head north along the Middle Atlas, stopping in Beni Mellal and its Ain Asserdoun spring. Climb into the cedar forests of Azrou to see the Barbary macaques and stroll through Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco”, before reaching Fes at dusk.

Day2
Fes → Chefchaouen
A morning with a local guide in the Fes el-Bali medina: the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine fountain and the Chouara tanneries. After lunch, drive through the Pre-Rif hills to Chefchaouen to watch the sunset over its blue houses.

Day3
Chefchaouen → Rabat → Marrakech
Early departure for the Atlantic coast and a stop in Rabat to see the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue by motorway to Marrakech, where the trip ends in the early evening.

Yes. If you enjoy walking, we can add a hike to the Akchour waterfalls and God’s Bridge, about 40 minutes from Chefchaouen.
Yes. Cars cannot enter the medina lanes, so we wait at the nearest accessible point and someone walks over from the riad with you and your luggage.
