Day1
Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
A very early start to cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Drive via Ouarzazate, the Dades Valley and the Todra Gorge, with short stops to stretch your legs. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon for a camel ride over the dunes and a night at a desert camp.
Sunrise over the dunes and a camel ride back to the meeting point. The return takes a different road: Rissani, the mining village of Alnif, famous for its fossils, and the palm groves of the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate. Cross the High Atlas and arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where the trip ends.

It starts and ends in Marrakech, with pick-up and drop-off at your hotel or riad.
If you only have two days, yes: you will sleep among the Erg Chebbi dunes. But it means about nine hours of driving each day; if you can, the 3- or 4-day tour is much more relaxed.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). In summer the desert is very hot, and in winter nights are cold in the Atlas and the Sahara.
Yes. Cars cannot enter the medina lanes, so we wait at the nearest accessible point and someone walks over from the riad with you and your luggage.
