Are There Direct Flights from Mexico to Morocco?

No, at the time of writing (October 2026) we have not found any direct flight in operation between Mexico and Morocco. For now the trip requires a stop, normally in Europe. That said, the route with a single connection is quite efficient.
Why there is still no direct route
The distance between Mexico City and Casablanca is around 9,000 km, a long journey that requires a long-range aircraft and demand strong enough to fill it. Interest in opening a direct connection between Casablanca and Mexico City, which would be the first between Mexico and Africa, has been publicly mentioned, but we have not found a confirmed launch date.
The shortest alternatives with one stop
- Mexico City → Madrid → Marrakech or Casablanca: the most usual option, with a transatlantic flight of about 11 hours and a connection of two and a half hours.
- Mexico City → Paris → Morocco: similar in length and with several daily frequencies.
- Mexico City → Miami or New York → Casablanca: Royal Air Maroc flies direct to Casablanca from several US cities, but Mexicans need a US visa or authorization to have a layover.
- Mexico City → Istanbul → Morocco: an alternative with Turkish Airlines, although it is usually longer.
